Valparaiso University Neil's Science Center was awarded to Lazzaro Companies the summer of 2016 and completed mid-2017. This project consisted of roughly 200 doors, frames and hardware. Lazzaro provided the interior wood doors and hollow metal frames, exterior hollow metal doors and frames, and all hardware on the project. The Neil's Science Center was a ground up construction project, with 3 floors covering 55,000 square feet. This project was awarded to Lazzaro during the erection of structural steel on the project, which gave us a shorter deadline for completing than normal. Lazzaro was able to complete the project on time without any project delays. Lazzaro worked hand in hand with both the general contractors as well as meeting with representatives from Valparaiso University to complete modifications to the original scope to ensure the highest customer satisfaction for this project.
